door county is one of our family's favorite places to be together & explore Our cleverly designed intimate cottage is close to 2 beautiful parks-Cave Point & Whitefish Dunes. They are a good long walk away or a short bike ride away. Jacksonport is a couple miles north of the cottage & can be a fun place to enjoy a cup of coffee, watch the sunrise at the park or take a kayak tour of the lakeshore.
biking is one of our favorite things to do in door county--all 4 of the state parks have incredible spots to bike/hike & cross country ski in the winter
it can be enjoyed in any season with a woodstove inside Bring books & cross country skis in the winter & warm up by the woodstove or enjoy family time exploring one of the nearby parks or swimming in the Great Lake Michigan in the summertime.
